College essays are one of the most important parts of your college application.
More importantly, by the fall of your senior year, they’re pretty much the only part of your application that can be changed.
Your GPA and high school transcript demonstrating course rigor are already set in stone. (Your senior year GPA and courses won’t matter very much for your college admissions.)
Likewise, you’ve run out of time to add to your list of extracurricular achievements.
You have maybe one more chance to raise your SAT and ACT scores.
BUT you can still write brilliant, memorable college essays that will catch the attention of admissions readers and earn you that acceptance offer — and even big scholarship money!
The problem is that college application essays require a kind of writing that almost no high school teaches. Students are left on their own to figure it out — with incredibly high stakes.
This is where an expert college essay coach can save the day.
I absolutely will not write your college admissions essays for you. This is unethical, not to mention illegal.
However, I’ll guide you through every stage of the essay process, from brainstorming to final revisions. We’ll help you stay on track for your deadlines and present your story in the best possible way for college admissions.
Both students and parents have told me that this relieves a lot of the stress and fear from the process.
About me:
I graduated summa cum laude from Princeton, where I won every award possible for her academic writing. I have over a decade of experience as a professional editor in the publishing industry, and I’ve been hand-picked by professors at Harvard, Princeton, and Yale to help them edit their books for publication. After I discovered that admissions consulting was the perfect combination of mentoring, writing, and strategizing, I left my career in publishing to focus on Ivy Bloom.
For the past decade, I’ve helped countless high school students through the college essay process, with impressive admissions results.
